Promotion to the Premier League is in sight for Fulham with Marco Silva's side now 14 points clear at the top of the Championship table.

Tuesday night’s 5-1 defeat of Swansea City, their 13th win by a margin of three goals or more, has left Fulham 14 points clear at the top of the division, with 11 matches still to play. It was, though, a finely poised contest; Fulham were struggling to get to grips with Swansea’s possession-based style and failed to ask many questions of their own. It's level at the break, but Swansea are a man light for the second-half. This could be a tough half for the Swans. Fine effort from Joseph and Piroe to force Fulham into a loose pass and win a throw-in. Fulham pushing for a second now. Decordova-Reid added a third with 73 minutes on the clock before Piroe earned a consolation for the hosts from a corner. And Welshman Williams netted twice in quick succession - with his second being a stunner - to cap off a resounding win for the Cottagers. Fulham took control as a result and saw Mitrovic heads inches wide in the final stages of the first-half as the signs for the second 45 looked ominous for the Swans. Into the final stages now, and Kyle Joseph is back on his feet after taking a knock. Kyle Joseph was sent on for Obafemi in what had become a damage limitation exercise for the hosts who saw Paterson drill wide after a succession of half chances for the away side. Matt Grimes lost possession after receiving a tough pass from Andy Fisher, and Mitrovic had the simple task of tapping home Wilson's pass to make it 1-0. But their task was made significantly harder three minutes before the interval as Manning was shown a straight red card for a foul on Wales star Wilson. Substitute Bobby Decordova-Reid added a third before Joel Piroe headed home his 16th goal of the campaign as the Swans scored from a set play for the first time this season.
