Mduduzi Mdantsane bagged a brace and was later sent off as Cape Town City defeated relegation-threatened Baroka FC 3-1 on Sunday evening.

City eventually bagged a fourth goal with two minutes to go as Martin got on the end of Terrence Mashegoโ€™s cross to head past an advancing Masuluke. The host got a third goal four minutes layer after a yard of space in the area saw Mdantsane take aim to head home for his brace from casual bit of defending. City completed the turnaround on 55 minutes as Mdantsane left Masuluke stranded with a penalty-kick after Sbonelo Ngubane committed a foul in the area.

Royal AM strengthened their push for CAF Champions League football after defeating TS Galaxy 3-1 in DStv Premiership action on Saturday afternoon.

The visitors completed the rout in second-half stoppage time, as Thikazi added a fourth goal with a close range as Royal AM consolidated second spot for another week. Royal AM settled the quickest in the second stanza as Ndumiso Mabena restored their two-goal lead just after the hour-mark after he bent in a free-kick past Buthelezi. Royal AM eventually broke the deadlock eight minutes later after Letsoalo headed home a cross by Zukile Mkhize in the box.
