Sami ZaynOne of the more intriguing matches on Sunday's card is the Anything Goes Match pitting Jackass' Johnny Knoxville against former intercontinental champion Sami Zayn.The lack of rules or order essentially gives Knoxville the opportunity to throw caution to the wind, as usual, and do anything he can to defeat Zayn. Might we see some of his Jackass pals get involved in hopes of securing the win for Knoxville? Will there be some major stunt that fans and mainstream media are talking about the next day? Their match should be full of raw athleticism, strong storytelling and some crowd-pleasing spots from McAfee.Theory got the last laugh Friday on SmackDown, taunting his rival and knowing damn well the former Indianapolis Colt could not do anything about it until Sunday. Given WWE's booking tendencies, expect McAfee to shut Theory up and score the biggest win of his wrestling career on the grandest stage the industry has to offer.It will be a step back for Theory, who has been heated up of late and appears poised to challenge Finn Balor for the United States Championship, but given his pairing with Mr. McMahon, he should be able to recover fairly quickly and easily.Anything Goes Match: Johnny Knoxville vs. Orton is a cerebral performer and should help to direct traffic, while Gable, Otis, Riddle, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins are all more than capable of holding their own with the future Hall of Famer.Expect a hot crowd, three teams busting ass to create magic, and successful title retention from RK-Bro as they continue a reign that was never meant to last this long.Pat McAfee transcends WWE. He is a mainstream media star with an enormous following, and his huge personality has helped make him the color commentator he has developed into over the last two years.

WWE needs to give them time to do just that—with the match ending designed to be a clean one that is the icing on the cake of an unforgettable Mania encounter. In an ideal world, Omos would be losing to a fellow rising star at WrestleMania who could benefit from toppling the giant, but that’s not happening and his actual opponent, Bobby Lashley, has been too good to be used as fodder for the gargantuan star. Upon its initial formation last year, RKBro was widely expected to be a short-term experiment that ultimately imploded with an Orton heel turn, but it got over in a major way, so much so that now is not the right time to end it.

This is really about shining a light on McAfee’s opponent — Austin Theory. Let’s hope WWE doesn’t just split these teams up once Mania is over and instead gives the division a chance to properly grow. A few months after being full babyface for a mixed tag match with wife Beth Phoenix at the Royal Rumble, Edge has turned things very dark – changing his music and entrance for this feud. Will The Rock confront his cousin to close the show to lay the groundwork for a match next year in Los Angeles? So many questions and we are finally about to get a few answers. Sami Zayn. It’s been made to feel more important than the Intercontinental championship that the “Jackass” star cost his opponent to add even more fire to this feud. There have been plenty of twists and turns to get here – with Heyman smack dab in the middle of it – but someone is leaving Dallas with all the gold. What will a unified champion mean for that person’s presence on WWE TV and the company’s brand split? Reigns goes back to The Beast returning from a more than year-long absence at SummerSlam. They set up for RKOs to the excitement of the crowd but they were yanked out of the ring by Gable and Otis. He did Booker’s catchphrase and took a shot at the Dallas Cowboys fans in the crowd. Gable followed with a moonsault onto the group as well. They both picked Brock Lesnar to beat Roman Reigns. Parsons was a fan of John Cena, and Elliot liked The Rock.

Frustrations to the night included the decision to have Sheamus and Ridge Holland defeat The New Day. Initially slated to take place on Saturday night, this was rushed, clocking in at just over seven minutes. An unexpected pin fall was Bobby Lashley pinning Omos. An interesting dynamic was at play in the match—the 7’3” Omos has seized the role as WWE’s unstoppable giant and there are obviously big plans for him, but Lashley is still a headline act for the company. Considering the difficulty involved in building a new babyface star, this was a great first step for Steveson. This marked Reigns’s sixth time in the main event of WrestleMania, with five for Lesnar. It was also their third time working a WrestleMania main event together. Chad Gable has finally found a place to thrive in WWE with his current character, and no one hits a better Northern Lights suplex. Austin celebrated in the ring with his Broken Skull IPAs, stunning McAfee in a picturesque manner to close out the scene. Featuring RK-Bro, The Street Profits and Alpha Academy, the opening match was a true showcase. The aftermath was a page out of WWE history, as Vince McMahon challenged McAfee to a match. Edge and Priest then revealed their alliance after the match, which has plenty of potential. With Theory playing the role of both Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco, McMahon pinned McAfee courtesy of a score of outside interference. He welcomed the crowd to WrestleMania, then left the ring—where a pair of his boots were left behind, signifying the end of his career. The Undertaker was given another sendoff, symbolizing the end of an era.

Considering Lesnar was defeated in the WrestleMania main event, it’s possible that his latest run with WWE has once again come to a close as he typically takes time off following a long stretch of consecutive dates with the company. While Lesnar, ex-UFC champion Ronda Rousey and UFC veteran Shayna Baszler all lost in their matches at WrestleMania, one-time Ultimate Fighter competitor Matt Riddle was victorious in his bout as part of a tag team match alongside Randy Orton earlier in the night. In a reversal late in the match, Lesnar actually caught Reigns in a kimura, which became one of his primary moves after leaving the UFC and rejoining the WWE roster back in 2012.

In a strange twist, when fans look back on WrestleMania 38, they will remember much about it before the main event ever comes to mind...

Maybe some of this is the fault of the otherwise amazing WrestleMania 38 card over both nights for setting the expectation that the main event would keep pace or provide something different. Whatever the reason, it also puts a damper on what's to come. It's pretty unfortunate that WWE derailed both men's divisions and major landmarks like the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber to set this up, only for the 'Mania main event to just slip past the 12-minute mark while feeling downright strange. It fell flat in a lot of ways before the weird finish. It was a subtle, genius moment the referee didn't see that swung the match. It is admittedly tough to tell the difference between Reigns' elite-level selling and something serious, of course.

WWE headed back to AT&T Stadium in Dallas for night two of WrestleMania 38, where Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar looked to end their feud for good.

It seemed like Brock Lesnar was going to be the contender to the throne as he had become champion on the Monday Night Raw brand, and it all led to their match at WrestleMania. With Roman Reigns continuing on one of his hottest streaks in his entire career thus far, one of the questions that began popping up was who exactly could actually defeat the top contender (and top villain) in the company.

Reigns bested Brock Lesnar in the main event on Sunday night for his first win over the now former champion at WrestleMania.

Reigns hit Lesnar with a low blow and Heyman gave him the universal championship, which Reigns used to hit Lesnar and score a two count. McAfee hit one of his trademark spots, landing on his feet on a backflip off the top rope before leaping back to the top rope and hitting Theory with a superplex. Lesnar went for another F-5 only for Reigns to slide out, shoving Lesnar into the ropes and allowing Reigns to hit one final spear for the finish. The finish was pretty sudden and the match was a bit lacking in the overall drama compared to previous Reigns and Lesnar contests. After the match, McAfee taunted McMahon, leading McMahon to take off his jacket and his shirt, striping to a tanktop and bringing a referee to the ring. Lashley then hit a spear to the back and another spear from the front to score the pin. Austin Theory: McAfee got off to a hot start with spinning elbows and ranas to keep Theory on the defensive. Edge: Edge took a smug approach to the start of the match, disrespecting Styles before Styles hit a dropkick and several arm drags to get off to a hot start. Zayn used a baking sheet and a crutch to hit Knoxville across the back before pulling out a table from under the ring. Riddle took out Ford with a springboard RKO as Ford was on the top rope and Orton hit Gable with an RKO of his own as Gable came off the top rope, scoring the win. Styles drove Edge into the ring apron with a superplex, nearly resulting in a double count out but Styles hit a springboard 450 when Edge got back in the ring, resulting in a near fall. In the main event, WWE champion Brock Lesnar clashed with Roman Reigns in a bout to unify WWE's top two championships.
