For Watford and Leeds United it is essential to start having a good close where they take advantage of all the remaining games to get points because a defeat could cost them dearly with the relegation to the Football League Championship. Likewise, in the statistics, they average a total of 29 goals for and 57 against, a situation that leaves them with a -28 goal difference in their position. Currently, they are in 16th place overall with 30 points that have been the product of 7 wins, 9 draws and 15 defeats, also, in the statistics they average 35 goals for and 68 against, a situation that leaves them with a difference of -33 goals. In terms of goals, both teams usually score against each other, with Watford scoring 46 goals and Leeds United 31. For this match, Sissoko will have to be more than that because they have to get the three points if they want to get out of the relegation zone. Raphinha could tip the balance in favor of Leeds at any time and give a blow of authority at home. Their most recent encounter dates back to the previous year of the current season, in that match it was Leeds United (when they were coached by Marcelo Bielsa) who won by the minimum difference at home. Currently the floodlights are mounted on top of the Vicarage Road and Rookery Positions. Raphinha (Leeds United) left footed shot from outside the box to the bottom right corner. The situation is not critical as 17th place has only 3 points more than them, however, they still need to be able to win and not keep losing points as it could cost them dearly with only 6 games left in the season. Goal! Watford 0, Leeds United 2. Goal! Watford 0, Leeds United 1.

DAZN subscribers can watch every single Premier League game in 2021/22 โ€“ and it gets better. If you pick up a fuboTV subscription for the games not on Peacock Premium, you'll be able to watch every game. To get around that, all you have to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it complies with your broadcasterโ€™s T&Cs. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and t'internet, meaning the service canโ€™t work out where you are and won't automatically block the service you've paid for. Under Jesse Marsch the Whites have taken seven points from the last nine available to open up a healthy buffer above the bottom three. Time is running out for the Hornets to clamber out of trouble. Watford are threepoints adrift of safety; there are still 24 points up for grabs in their remaining eight fixtures.

Watford vs Leeds United LIVE (Leeds Live)

Blow-by-blow live updates from Vicarage Road and the Premier League match between Roy Hodgson's Watford and Jesse Marsch's Leeds United.

The former eventually forces it and just gives the ball to Ben Foster long. Blocks the ball into Raphinha's path on the edge of the box. Klich and Koch are marked and everyone else is 40 yards down the field. Shows the home danger on the break. Good delivery into the box and James has a collision with Kabasele, but very even and a coming together rather than a foul. Time and again Ayling and Dallas are being beaten in behind and Cooper and Llorente are having to clear balls into the box. Leeds break away two vs two with Raphinha and James in the middle. Really hard to give you any concrete updates other than to say they are both struggling to keep the ball in play. Right up there with the worst spectacles of the season. The Hornets are three places and eight points worse off than Leeds, though they have a game in hand. Naturally, this is a match the hosts will be targeting as a must-win to give themselves any chance of surviving the drop. Diego Llorente provided the only goal in a tense game which spelt the end for Xisco Munoz.

Predicted XI for Watford against Leeds United (Watford Observer)

Watford return to Vicarage Road for the first time in over a month this afternoon, where they will face Leeds United.

Hodgson said speculation on his future is not affecting him. Has shown in recent games that he can really make a difference if given the chance. Hodgson seems to have taken a shine to him in recent weeks, but I would be equally unsurprised to see Tom Cleverley return.

Report: Watford 0-3 Leeds United (Leeds United)

Three goals and three points for the Whites! Premier League. Watford 0. Leeds United 3 (Raphinha 21', Rodrigo 73', Harrison 85'). Watford ...

Harrison then had no hesitation in smashing home left-footed into the far corner to make it three! The much needed second goal arrived for Leeds in the 73rd minute. The Hornets were forced into a change before the whistle, with Cucho Hernandez going off and being replaced by Emmanuel Dennis. Brilliant work from Dan James created the opportunity as he twice refused to give up the ball and with his second black it found Raphinha. Goals from Raphinha and Rodrigo were followed up with another for Jack Harrison late in the game. Juraj Kucka broke forward from midfield and it was deemed that he had been fouled just outside the box.

Watford are 19th with 22 points, six points from safety. Roy Hodgson's side were toothless in front of goal and shaky in defence, unable to capitalise on an early attacking spell as the visitors took the lead thanks to a botched clearance. Dan James slid the ball across to Raphinha on the edge of the 18-yard box and the Brazil international's shot curled past Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster and went in off the post for his 10th goal of the season.
