La Liga Odds: Rayo-Villarreal prediction, odds and pick - 5/12/2022 (ClutchPoints)

In the battle of the domestic versus European surprise, Rayo Vallecano will be hosting Villarreal in a potentially key match for the guests.

After all, Villarreal did win 2-0 fairly easily in the first game and Rayo are effectively not playing for anything right now, so if there was ever a chance for easy, but much-needed points, this is it. With two infinitely tougher games remaining on the schedule after this one, Villarreal must look to win against Rayo and prepare for a huge game versus Real Sociedad. They also did the same to the Catalans earlier in the season, when Radamel Falcao scored in the 30th minute to secure them the win. They recently beat Barcelona at the Nou Camp and did so by scoring in the 7th minute and holding on to the lead. If Villarreal did not have a European campaign as they did, we would be talking about Rayo Vallecano as the Spanish surprise of the season. They are currently seventh, which is a place in the Europa Conference League, but Villarreal will need some good results by the end of the season to secure this.

La Liga Odds: R. Sociedad-Cadiz prediction, odds and pick - 5/12 ... (ClutchPoints)

Real Sociedad will play hosts to Cadiz in a match that could have great implications for where the Basque club finishes the season and plays next year.

It starts in Basque country versus Real Sociedad, but their next match is versus Real Madrid, the champions of Spain. Truth be told, their last game is versus Alaves, the team that should really be relegated by the time this match comes. As a team that has a ton of potential, Cadiz can stay up and that fight begins its most important stage here, versus Real Sociedad. If they managed to beat Barcelona away from home, there is absolutely no reason they cannot do the same to Real Sociedad. For a brief part of the season, Real Sociedad was in a fight to win La Liga. Obviously, no one wins the title in the first half of the season, unless it is a massive lead, but the fans of this club were likely dreaming about a top-four finish, the first one since the 2012-13 season. It all begins on Thursday and despite the general opinion that Cadiz is an easy team to beat, Real Sociedad still needs to be careful. Real Sociedad will play hosts to Cadiz in a match that could have great implications for where the Basque club finishes the season and plays next year. They have been in a fight for the top four spots for a fairly long time, even occupying the first spot for a part of the season.

La Liga Odds: Real Madrid-Levante prediction, odds and pick - 5/12 ... (ClutchPoints)

Champions of Spain Real Madrid will be hosting relegation-bound Levante in a game that could be the start of the latter's improbable comeback into La Liga ...

Against Real Madrid, playing in their Ciutat de Valencia stadium, they had a 2-1 and a 3-2 lead, but two goals by Vinicius Jr meant that the game ended in a draw. Real Madrid has a short bench in terms of playing against bigger clubs, but against the likes of Levante, it should be enough, especially in the Bernabeu. As said above, Real Madrid is the champions and this is their second La Liga title in three years. Out of their six wins this season, one came against Atletico Madrid, one against Real Sociedad, and one against Villarreal. Also, they kept it fairly close against both Sevilla and Barcelona, losing to a very late Luuk de Jong header versus Barca and almost pulling it back with a Roberto Soldado goal versus Sevilla. A few weeks back, they secured the La Liga title with a 4-0 win at home to Espanyol. After that, they had the improbable comeback versus Man City to go into the Champions League final. With that said, it’s a good time to check out our La Liga odds series, which includes our Real Madrid-Levante prediction and pick we have laid out below.

Real Madrid announce squad for La Liga match against Levante (Managing Madrid)

REAL MADRID SQUAD: Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Fuidias. Defenders: E. Militão, Vallejo, Nacho, F. Mendy and Gila. Midfielders: Kroos, Modrić, Casemiro, ...

Courtois is back and could return to the starting XI even though he missed the last few training sessions. Ancelotti will likely keep making some rotations and then give his usual starters the chance to improve his form and conditioning during the weekend, although the Italian coach did not reveal his approach during the pre-match press conference. Asensio and Carvajal will miss the game and so will Eden Hazard, who rejoined the squad in training having recovered from the surgery he underwent this spring.

Now drawing a Real Madrid with their guard down, I expect Levante to find the back of the net in this one just as they have in every match since February 4th. Three games remain, including Thursday’s match at home, as the team looks to set a precedent for next season and continue their dominance in Spain’s top league. Relegation is on the table for those teams that finish in the bottom three of the league as they will fall out of La Liga’s top league.

Real Madrid vs Levante Preview: Probable Lineups, Prediction... (The Hard Tackle)

Real Madrid will hope to bounce back to winning ways when they welcome Levante to the Santiago Bernabeu in a rare midweek La Liga game.

That will start from Thursday when Real Madrid and Levante clash at the Santiago Bernabeu. Rodrygo Goes has been one of the most in-form players for Real Madrid in the last few games, and he will retain his spot in the side. Dani Cardenas will take his place between the stick against Real Madrid, with Levante lining up in a 5-3-2 formation in front of him. The back five will help in robbing Luka Modric, Federico Valverde, Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo Goes of space to work with on Thursday. However, Levante will not go down without a fight, scoring one goal on the break, although that will be too little too late. Up ahead in midfield, Pepelu will reprise the anchor role, with Nemanja Radoja and Gonzalo Melero providing defensive support to him. Levante will make things difficult for Real Madrid, as they will prioritise not conceding a goal while looking to hit the hosts on the counter-attack. Up ahead in midfield, Casemiro will continue to build his sharpness for the big game against Liverpool, with Ancelotti likely to give him another 60 minutes on the pitch. The reverse fixture was a riveting affair that ended in a 3-3 draw between Levante and Real Madrid, with Vinicius Jr. earning his side a point with an 85th-minute strike. And Levante will aim to remain in contention to stay afloat in the top flight when they take on Los Blancos at the Santiago Bernabeu on Thursday night. Lucas Vazquez and Ferland Mendy will be the two full-backs, with Eder Militao being the other centre-back against Levante. Carlo Ancelotti’s charges have also qualified for the UEFA Champions League final, where they will lock horns with Liverpool. Real Madrid’s most recent game ended in a 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid, which was an inconsequential result for them.

Atletico win in La Liga, earn UCL spot (The West Australian)

Atletico Madrid have beaten Elche 2-0 in La Liga to secure Champions League football for a 10th consecutive season.

Betis, who won 3-0 at Valencia on Tuesday, can't surpass Atletico for the final qualification spot because of their inferior head-to-head tiebreaker. Alaves left last place and moved within four points of exiting the drop zone with a 2-1 win over 13th-placed Espanyol while Getafe earned a 1-1 draw at mid-table Osasuna to move within a point of securing their permanence in the first division. The victory left Atletico with a chance to catch Barcelona for second place and a place in the lucrative Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia. Barcelona, who defeated Celta Vigo 3-1 at home on Tuesday, are five points in front of Atletico going into the last two games of the season.

La Liga 2021-22: Atletico Madrid Beat Elche To Earn UEFA ... (Outlook India)

Atletico Madrid secured their UEFA Champions League spot after beating Elche in a La Liga 2021-22 match.

Getafe earned a 1-1 draw at mid-table Osasuna to move within a point of securing its permanence in the first division. It was the third win in the last five league matches for Alavés, all of them at home. Mallorca stayed with chances of escaping demotion as it sits two points behind Cádiz, the first team outside the relegation zone. Sevilla again missed a chance to secure its UEFA Champions League spot in advance at home. Matheus Cunha and Rodrigo De Paul scored a goal in each half to leave Atlético six points in front of fifth-place Real Betis with two rounds to go. It hosts last-place Levante on Thursday. Atlético has made it to the Champions League every time since 2013-14.

La Liga India managing director Jose Antonio Cachaza said on Wednesday that he is targeting the summer of 2023 at the earliest to bring Spanish clubs.

We were in the early stages of discussion, but we had to abandon it due to Covid-19 and lockdowns,” he said. The availability of dates is also a major concern. “To bring Real or Barca is like organising a concert of the Rolling Stones. It’s an expensive matter.
