Liverpool are looking at strengthening their midfield in the next couple of transfer windows and Aurélien Tchouaméni is among the names being considered.

Barcelona reportedly see Zubimendi as a long-term successor for Sergio Busquets, and he supposedly tops their list for signings in that role in the summer. The appeal from a Liverpool perspective would be immediately clear with his passing range and ability to dictate not only seeing him as a natural player to step in for Fabinho, but also someone who could replicate, to some extent, the impact of Thiago Alcântara as someone who controls the midfield and the intensity of a game. Liverpool are looking at Jude Bellingham and Aurélien Tchouaméni as possible future midfield options in the transfer market, but with the need to find someone capable of filling in for Fabinho as their number six, another name could yet be considered.
