Cape Town police are searching for a Manenberg mom who went missing on Monday after she was last seen driving home.
“We still (haven’t) find her, her car was found, yes, but it was not in Khayelitsha. We also did not receive any calls for ransom. Essop’s sister-in-law Ayesha Essop confirmed to the Weekend Argus that even though Essop’s car was found, it was not in Khayelitsha. Her family have dismissed rumours about Essop being found on Tuesday morning and her car being found in Khayelitsha.

Essop's whereabouts were last known at 2pm on Monday when she was driving a white Toyota on Weltevreden Road near Philippi after work.
