Police search for two gunmen responsible for a man being fatally shot at a restaurant in Rosebank.

Reports from the scene, on June 9, indicate at least one person has been injured. A case of murder will be investigated and the police appeal to anyone who may have information to please contact the Crime Stop Line at 08600 10111 or anonymously report tip-offs on Mysaps app. The motive of the murder is unknown at this stage.

Parts of Rosebank have been closed off after the shooting incident at the Tashas restaurant at Rosebank Mall.

Potelwa said the motive for the shooting was unknown at this stage and organised crime detectives were investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting incident. This incident comes after four men were shot and killed on Tuesday evening in Khayelitsha, in yet another mass shooting incident in the Cape Town township. Although it appears to be a hit, the motive of the shooting is unconfirmed at this stage.
