He’s only performed at a handful of private events since the tragedy, including a short guest appearance at a Coachella afterparty on April 17, and a private pre-Oscars party in Bel-Air on March 26. Later the pair ensure that other people of the crowd are alright and tell members of security not to push on the barricades at the venue. In video footage shared online of a performance at the Coney Art Walls in Coney Island, the rapper is seen performing alongside Meek Mills.
The rapper is still facing multiple lawsuits following the tragedy at Astroworld Festival last year.
In December, it was announced that he would no longer headline Coachella 2022, and a planned collaboration with Dior was delayed "out of respect for everyone affected by the tragic events at Astroworld." In the days after the festival, he responded with multiple statements and offered to cover funeral costs for those who died. Scott is still facing a slew of multimillion-dollar lawsuits after the incident.
