RECAP: Zamalek beat Contractors, Al Ahly thrash Future FC (KingFut)

Al Ahly have thrashed Future FC while Zamalek kept their winning run alive with a narrow win over Arab Contractors as the title race continues.

Al Ahly come in third place with 48 points from two games less as they set to face Pyramids in their upcoming league clash, while Zamalek will travel to face Ghazal El-Mahalla. Meanwhile, Pyramids FC managed to come back from behind and earn a tough point against Tala’ea El-Gaish. Entering matchday 24, Zamalek were sitting top of the table with 51 points, six ahead of Al Ahly, who played two games less.

The misses did not prove costly though as Zamalek held on for a precious win. Ahly, who meet Future FC later on Tuesday, are nine points behind Zamalek but they still have three games in hand. Contractors had the better of the early exchanges and Karim Mostafa went close after eight minutes when his shot was deflected for a corner with the goal at his mercy after Awad could only parry a cross into his path.
