Bafana Bafana advanced to the next round of the African Nations Championship qualifiers with a 1-0 aggregate win over Comoros.
The visitors threatened in the tail end with dangerous crosses in the box but goalkeeper Lincoln Vyver and his defence were alert to deny the island nation a chance to get back into the the game, as they held on to progress 1-0 on aggregate. Bafana had a bright start in the second stanza as Radiopane had a big chance at the back post after a cross by Sifama but he miscued his shot wide from close-range. Bafana had the momentum in the latter phase of the first stanza, as the side started to combine, with midfielder Matlou in particular linking up well with Sifama and Radiopane but Comoros goalkeeper intercepted a couple of good through balls.
