Per a report from transfer market guru Fabrizio Romano, Ajax Amsterdam have completed the signing of young Italian striker Lorenzo Lucca from Serie B side Pisa.

Onuachu had been in the debate of likely strikers Ajax could sign, with the Dutch giants in the market to sign a tall striker as a temporary replacement for the injured Sebastien Haller. Lucca’s move to Ajax effectively shuts the door on any hope Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu may have of joining the reigning Eredivisie champions. The Dutch giants were in the market for a tall centre-forward but have decided against signing one of Nigeria’s tallest strikers in Europe
