Looking at the lineups, starting goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale came up huge in both matches last season, and already has had a couple of big saves this season.

On the injury front, Ricardo has had his Achilles surgery and will be out for 6 months, with Harvey Barnes out for a few weeks with some knee issues. - Jonny Evans is normally the center back looking downfield, trying to pick out a long pass and move the ball forward. - Ndidi has made little progress in looking more comfortable in possession, with some heavy touches and poor passes putting Leicester under pressure last week. Looking at the lineups, starting goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale came up huge in both matches last season, and already has had a couple of big saves this season. Leicester City visit the Emirates on Saturday to face off against Arsenal, where they’ll hope to build on the first 60 minutes of their draw against Brentford. The Gunners are coming off a fine 2-0 victory against Crystal Palace, and looking to improve on last season’s 5th place finish after 2 seasons without European football. Ben White nominally started at right back, but after Arsenal went ahead, sat much deeper to allow Zinchenko to push up on the left.

Justin plays that role manfully, and is impressive with his decision-making in the final third, but Leicester do lack a left-footer who can properly stretch the play. Zinchenko can play in a couple of positions to the very highest level. He’s good at breaking up play, positive with his distribution and capable of dribbling forward. They faded dramatically in the second half, however, and Brentford eventually merited a point. Copyright 2022 The Arsenal Football Club plc. Arsenal will be looking to make it two wins from two on Saturday, as the Foxes hope to bounce back from a disappointing result last weekend.

The Gunners did the double over Leicester last season, beating Brendan Rodgers' side 2-0 both at home and away. Vardy has scored a whopping 11 goals in 13 appearances against Arsenal in the Premier League and will be looking to add to that tally on Saturday. The last time the Foxes beat Arsenal was back in 2020 at the Emirates Stadium, where a late Jamie Vardy goal was all that separated the two sides.

Arsenal vs Leicester City Preview: Probable Lineups, Prediction... (The Hard Tackle)

A confident Arsenal will host the Emirates' first home game of the season, as Leicester City come to London with high hopes.

Scoring plenty of goals and keeping a clean sheet in each of them has been the hallmark of their performances. William Saliba was a joy to watch against Crystal Palace and justified the hype created by Arsenal fans for over three years. The Foxes have most of their essential players available despite the ongoing transfer speculation with a few. A midfield diamond could take shape in the middle of the park, with Wilfred Ndidi in the anchor role. Vieira and Smith Rowe have chances to make the matchday squad, but Arteta will not be in a hurry to bring them into the fold. The Foxes seem to be closing in on their first summer signing, as goalkeeper Alex Smithies is set to join them. Leicester City has been in the news for a lack of signings this summer. Other than that, the squad has no new problems, and the Arsenal manager can rely on the players that got three points against Crystal Palace. It has been over 50 years since Arsenal recorded back-to-back victories while keeping clean sheets in the opening two games of the Premier League, and Arteta will be eager to set the record straight. William Saliba put in a man of the match performance, while Gabriel Jesus began life brightly in Arsenal colours. Mikel Arteta has a near-full strength squad at his disposal, except for players making their way to full fitness. Arsenal ensured they did not repeat their start to the 2021/22 season, as they secured a well-deserved victory over Crystal Palace away from home.

One element of my team people may disagree with is the reintroduction of Caglar Soyuncu. Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers has been edging toward a three-centreback setup for sometime, and employed one in the Bees clash.
