This common golf-bag organizing mistake could be damaging your ... (Golf.com)

Properly organizing your golf bag will make your clubs easy to find and access. It also can prevent club damage.

Because cart bags are intentionally designed to offer access to all the pockets and your clubs when strapped to a “buggy,” you want to place your longest to shortest clubs from back to front. This is where things get confusing, because if you typically walk, there is no reason to reconfigure your bag for the occasional riding round. This is a recurring theme for golf-club organization: easy access while preventing potential damage to your graphite shafts. This rule is straightforward, if not always followed: If you carry your clubs, they should be organized from longest to shortest, top to bottom. Whether you carry, use a push cart or ride, there is a proper way to organize your clubs for ease of access and also to prevent damage. [golf bag](https://golf.com/tag/best-golf-bags/) might seem like a simple concept, but with so many bags on the market today ( [check out the best bags at every price point here](https://golf.com/gear/best-golf-bags-golfers-2021-2022/)), it’s not always clear which clubs should go where.

Braintree's Paul Veneto honors 9/11 crews with Dulles-Pentagon ... (The Patriot Ledger)

Paulie Veneto of Braintree plans to push an airplane drink cart from Dulles Airport to The Pentagon to honor flight crews who died in 9/11.

During last year's push, Veneto wanted to keep the focus on the heroism displayed by the flight attendants that day, but he said many people were drawn to his story of recovery. Veneto started Paulie's Push to recognize the flight attendants aboard the four planes used in the 9/11 attacks. He would like to do the route of United Flight 93 from Newark to Shanksville, Pennsylvania next year, but Veneto said he would need to obtain a corporate sponsor to help with the expenses. The route of the final flight, American Airlines Flight 11, which went from Boston to the World Trade Center, he hopes to do in 2026, the 25th anniversary of the attacks. As for access to the Pentagon, that's where Elizabeth Sweeney, sister of his friend Joe Sweeney, came in. While he continued to fly for another decade, he developed an addiction to opiates. The RV will be used as his support vehicle. Veneto, who pushed the cart 230 miles from Logan Airport in Boston to Ground Zero in New York last summer in honor of his fellow flight attendants on United Flight 175, will follow the route of another of the four planes involved in the 9/11 attacks and honor a different flight crew. The Sweeneys are the children of Air Force Major Gen. Aboard the Boeing 757-200 were five hijackers who crashed the plane into the Pentagon, the headquarters of the Defense Department. 8, he will leave Dulles International Airport outside Washington and head for The Pentagon, a trip of a little over 35 miles. "There was momentum to this thing," said Veneto, 63.
