Golden Arrows extended their winless run to four matches after playing to a goalless draw with unbeaten TS Galaxy on Saturday afternoon.
That proved to be the final opening at goal in the second half, as Arrows pick up their second point of the season while Galaxy extend their unbeaten run to four matches. Arrows had only scored one goal prior to encounter against Galaxy and with time running out in the second half, the coaches threw on Ryan Moon and Saziso Magawana. Arrows were still searching for their first win and that didn't look like happening in the first half, with the likes of Sibiya and Mutizwa struggling to trouble Galaxy goalkeeper Melusi Buthelezi.
Golden Arrows and TS Galaxy had to settle for a point each from their DStv Premiership clash at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban on Saturday.
A KZN derby is next on the agenda for Arrows when they play AmaZulu, while Galaxy will want to get back to winning ways when they travel to Gqeberha for a difficult encounter against Chippa United. The Arrows bench looked to inject a cutting edge in the final third when they introduced Ryan Moon and Saziso Magawana for Knox Mutizwa and Pule Mmodi in the 75th minute but the pair could not influence matters. A struggling Arrows side looked to kickstart their season with a victory at home following two defeats and a draw in their opening three matches.
