The young full-back joined the Red Devils during the 2022-23 summer transfer window and was signed from Feyenoord in a deal worth just £13.5m.

Starting out with Feyenoord’s youth academy back in 2008, it didn’t take Malacia very long to force his way through the club’s youth ranks. Malacia, who was brought on as a sub, made his Manchester United debut on the opening weekend of the 2022-23 Premier League season against Brighton and Hove Albion. Promoted to Feyenoord’s first team during the summer of 2017, Malacia made his senior competitive debut in December of the same year.
