Chippa, Galaxy play out stalemate (Premier Soccer League)

Chippa United and TS Galaxy played out a goalless stalemate in their DStv Premiership meeting at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The visitors opted for a change in attack at the start of the second half, with Keletso Makgalwa replacing Vilakazi, while the hosts waited until just after the hour mark to shuffle their pack with the introduction of Khanyisile Mayo and Elmo Kambindu. And Chippa shot-stopper Sipho Chaine was also called into action in the opening phase of the match, producing a fine save to turn away a shot from Galaxyโ€™s Lindokuhle Mbatha in the 10th Chippa looked to get off to a fast start and had the first shot on target as early as the opening minute, with Diego Appollis stinging the palms of Galaxy goalkeeper Melusi Buthelezi.
