10 Best DJ Khaled songs of all time (PINKVILLA)

DJ Khaled, is an American record producer, radio personality, rapper, DJ, and record label executive. Without further ado, here are DJ Khaled's top 10 ...

God Did, which is spearheaded by the previously released single "Staying Alive," which also features Drake and Lil Baby, is the first time in a while that Eminem and Kanye West have collaborated on the same song. As he repeatedly says, "This shit is unique," throughout the song, Khaled knew he had one with this one. 13, has served as the soundtrack for numerous summertime escapades and has only gotten better over time. With this song from his tenth studio album, Grateful, DJ Khaled, who is known for his successful rap collaborations, offers a change of pace by pairing Rihanna and Bryson Tiller for an unforgettable duet. Mike Zombie handled the production. Only a handful few hip hop artists have DJ Khaled's cache, which has proven beneficial in his ability to connect the dots and bring together a varied group of talents in the studio for creative collaboration. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. This raucous hit, which was created by Nineteen85 and Jordan Ullman and reached its Billboard Hot 100 high at No. This triumphal anthem from DJ Khaled's Victory album features T-Pain, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, and Rick Ross as reinforcements. After relocating to Miami in 1998, Khaled worked as a DJ and on-air personality for radio station 99 Jamz. It is a lighthearted ballad that became an instant hit and peaked at No. Without further ado, here are DJ Khaled's top 10 tracks.

New Music Friday - New Albums From J.I.D, DJ Khaled, Roc ... (HipHopDX)

This week's New Music Friday sees the release of albums from J.I.D, DJ Khaled, Roc Marciano, Mach Hommy, Meechy Darko, Alchemist and more.

He’s continued to build his acclaim through albums such as last year’s CARE PACKAGE 4 THE STREETS, forever grateful from February of this year and now Waited My Turn. Songs such as “FINDERS KEEPERS” with Scorey and “KILL CUPID” from 2021’s EAT YOUR HEART OUT established Kenji as an artist capable of appealing to a large demographic. As can be expected, fans were always hopeful that the Brooklyn rapper would step into his own lane and release music independently. Dollar Menu 4, the follow-up to Balens Cho and the magnificent Pray for Haiti from 2021, recruits a small, but vicious cast of guest producers and rappers including Your Old Droog, Tha God Fahim, Big Cheeko and more. His raps are tighter and more introspective and the beat selection is more diverse. His dark, sinister-sounding voice would catch the ears of whichever listener the music encountered. The Forever Story has been a long time in the making. His career truly begun to take off with The Never Story, an album which finds the East Atlanta rapper spitting alongside EarthGang, Mereba and 6LACK. Like anything the veteran artist touches, GOD DID is ostentatious and grandiose in scale. Other new albums of the week include Internet Money’s Dro Kenji with ANYWHERE BUT HERE, Lil Bean’s Waited My Turn and many more. Meechy Darko, one of the three members of New York rap crew Flatbush Zombies, has also dropped off his debut solo project, Gothic Luxury. From there we head East to Miami and explore DJ Khaled’s latest effort GOD DID, the follow-up to last year’s KHALED KHALED.

Amidst all the hate Khaled receives – that he’s generally annoying and his albums resemble celebrity basketball games – perhaps the most lasting criticism is that he “doesn’t do anything.” He’s not a musician, per se, though he’s grown careful to add himself to his liner notes despite making few if any musical contributions to his tracks. But DJ Khaled has earned more fame than his predecessors, or contemporaries like DJ Drama, yielding four platinum albums, a welter of unavoidable hits like “I’m the One” and “Wild Thoughts,” and the spectacle of former President Barack Obama using his “All I Do Is Win” as entrance music. For over 15 years – and longer, if you count his early days as a Miami radio and club DJ – he has positioned himself as the id of rap’s mainstream, a meme-able interlocutor of the form’s pop ambitions.

It's True: Jay-Z's Verse on DJ Khaled's GOD DID Is That Good (The Root)

Hov dropped a strong candidate for the verse of the year on DJ Khaled's latest album.

I know DJ Khaled is the king of exaggerations, but that man did not lie. [Complex](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1nk_xulSEU) about the Roc Nation mogul’s verse, Khaled said, “The rumors are true! That I can tell you.” [10% offNooci](https://go.linkby.com/CNMNMQEH) He even cleared up any suspicion that he’s beefing with Meek Mill after he [all of them](https://www.theroot.com/rihanna-kanye-west-jay-z-make-forbes-billionaire-list-1848757199) are [billionaires](https://www.theroot.com/the-secrets-of-black-billionaires-kanye-west-1848969798)—including Jay. I know that’s a tall order considering Hov is considered by many to be the greatest rapper of all time, but his bars on this verse are pretty special.

The Best New Music This Week: JID, Lil Tjay, DJ Khaled, and More (Complex)

Complex's best new music this week includes soongs from DJ Khaled, Jay-Z, Lil Baby, JID, Offset, Moneybagg Yo, Pi'erre Bourne, IDK, and many more.

“Free Slime” is one of two songs IDK released this week along with “Drive.” The title of IDK’s new track “Free Slime,” is a tribute to Young Thug who is currently incarcerated. “When I drop down he turn me up/ Pussy got him shutting up/ Ain’t worried bout a nigga cuz I always got a runner up,” she spits. “Good Movie” is expected to appear on Pi’erre Bourne’s upcoming album of the same name, which is slated for release on September 2. “Good Movie” is a smooth and melodic track from Pi’erre Bourne. Ari Lennox is the spine of the track, providing a jazzy and melodious bridge where she promises, “Baby, don’t leave, you’re all I need/And if you stay then I’ma change my ways/ Baby, don’t leave, you’re all I need.” This track is a standout from JID’s new album, The Forever Story. “Big Stunna” is a dizzying and sinister track anchored in piano keys that finds the duo bragging about their endless wealth, luxurious possessions, and reputations. “Big stunna, big stunna/But the shots can’t miss/ Real nigga, I can’t fuck with you, nigga/ I can’t hang, ain’t no snakes in none of my campaign,” Quavo raps on the chorus over DJ Durel and Budda Beats co-production. “Bulletproof like government/ Grew up with my brother ‘nem/ Big bruh always hustling/ Since my brother got killed, it ain’t no fighting, it ain’t no tussling,” Offset raps. He also touches on his recent shooting, rapping, “I do my own thing, fuck it, I took seven shots, no shame/Back to wall, I’m still gon’ blow you down, I ain’t no stain.” Prior to the shooting, Lil Tjay released his EP Strictly 4 My Fans in April. His new single “Beat Da Odds” details the near-fatal incident as well as other obstacles the rapper overcame. “But I’m so cultivating, everybody replicate me, nigga, face facts/ Dreadlocks, face tats, I’m the apex,” Tunechi raps.

The Highlights of DJ Khaled's New Album 'God Did,' From a Rare Dr ... (GQ Magazine)

From a Rare Dr. Dre Beat to an Unexpected Eddie Murphy Sample, These are the Highlights of DJ Khaled's God Did ... There's a lot to enjoy after the Jay-Z verse.

Either way, it’s enjoyable to hear the voice of a truly talented artist gone too soon. There are a few clunker lines, chiefly one where he compares the sale of Rihanna’s Fenty clothing line to fentanyl, but it’s an expansive verse that allows Jay to brag about his corporate prowess as only he can. ”Now the weed in stores, can you believe this, Ty?” he jokes.

JAY-Z Has Released The Best Verse Of The Year (Ambrosia For Heads)

JAY-Z's verse on DJ Khaled's God Did featuring Rick Ross Lil Wayne and John Legend explained with full song audio.

He raps “Me and Meek could never beef, I freed that ni**a from a whole bid, Hov did,” in reference to the reported millions of dollars Jay contributed to Meek’s legal funds to help free him when he was incarcerated. Jay uses the end of the verse to explicitly stake his claim to Rap’s throne. On “God Did,” Jay artfully raps about his continuing efforts to free the unjustly imprisoned and his gratefulness for having avoided prison himself, all while warning others to do the same. Each of those men, however, is a close affiliate of Jay and one would expect them to extol the virtues of the man who has played such an important role in their trajectories. I can’t believe this sh*t.’” On “God Did,” Jay reinforces this concept numerous times, rapping “Now the weed in stores, can you believe this, Ty? The man born Shawn Carter uses Khaled’s platform not to do lyrical gymnastics, but to run down the resume of what he has accomplished in music and in life. [JAY-Z bailed out several fathers](https://ambrosiaforheads.com/2020/01/jay-z-yo-gotti-reform-video/), so they could be reunited with their families. This was a major point he revealed in his recent discussion with Kevin Hart, where Jay said ” “I was actually on Facetime with Ty [Jay’s close friend and Roc Nation co-founder], and I was saying I don’t think people realize that we just sit around all the time and [say] like ‘Can you believe this sh*t? While JAY-Z has been considered a GOAT MC for decades, discussion about him as one of Hip-Hop’s elite has waned in the last few years, as Kendrick, Cole and Drake have become the most regularly mentioned contenders for the throne. With the release of DJ Khaled’s “God Did,” featuring Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, John Legend and JAY-Z, however, Hov has reminded all that he believes the discussion about who is Rap’s greatest MC starts and stops with him. [Johnny P’s Caddy](https://ambrosiaforheads.com/2022/01/benny-j-cole-johnny-p-caddy/),” Cole rapped about destroying your favorite rappers, killing MCs on their own songs and even saying he would do so to Jesus, if he ever asked for a feature verse. What made Cole’s bars all the more savage was that they came as part of his guest appearance on a song by Griselda’s Benny The Butcher.
