Sky News' Anna Botting on gruelling shift covering Queen's death (Metro)

The Sky News on being at Westminster Abbey to cover the Queen's funeral and what is was like working on the day the news broke.

It was still a shock, though, and being the front face of it, you have a desperation not to get it wrong. I did the evening of Prince Philip’s funeral. It is a strange experience for them having to do it in public. If you watch him at Hillsborough Castle and at the Accession Council, the pen is his moment when he’s tipping over the edge due to stress and exhaustion. And Princess Anne, who did the journey with the Queen from Balmoral. When I started at Sky 27 years ago, it was all about the Queen Mother. The baby was born in peace and died in war, and I was beginning to lose it. I got upset on day 22 of the war in Mariupol, when there was a baby wrapped in a sheet who died aged 23 days old. The scale of the funeral will be beyond what we’ve seen in this country. With the walkabouts, we’ve had the camera on King Charles and people in the crowd holding his hand saying, ‘You’ll be good, don’t worry. I’m honoured to say that I’ll be at Westminster Abbey for the day.

"I said 'There was nothing in there I loved. There was nothing in there I liked. "And you all actually waited until the proper release time so you can all enjoy it together. "Before the song came out there was a snippet on YouTube and it sounded like it would be a hit if it was released. It went on to become one of the most popular albums of the year. The album cover also made a humorous reference to the anonymous hack, with the tagline "Lil Wayne Approved". The author said she had been "left dismayed and distressed by such a fundamental betrayal of trust" and took the pair to court. Describing the decision in a Q&A, she said: "I was yearning to go back to the beginning of a writing career in this new genre, to work without hype or expectation and to receive totally unvarnished feedback." Madonna later described the experience as "artistic rape" and a "form of terrorism". Written during the coronavirus pandemic, she had previously said the album "allowed her a place to dream and find escape during a scary time for the world", adding it was a "safe space, a place without judgment". She said at the time: "I would prefer my fans to hear completed versions of some of the songs instead of the incomplete tracks that are circulating", adding that they were an "early Christmas present". She added she was grateful for fans "calling out anyone trying to sneak into the club early".

"Edibles" are sold alongside heroin and cocaine online, as police warn children are taking and selling these drugged sweets.

The social media companies mentioned in this article all told Sky News they have strict policies prohibiting the buying or selling of any drugs, including sweets containing THC. [Data and Forensics](https://news.sky.com/topic/data-and-forensics-9532) team is a multi-skilled unit dedicated to providing transparent journalism from Sky News. For example on Instagram, looking at the accounts following or being followed by a seller leads you to discover more sellers. Sky News found dealers are operating openly on all of the UK's five most popular social media sites: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Snapchat. Around a third of the first 40 results were advertised as containing cannabis. Police warn the drugs' fake packaging makes them attractive to children.
