'I've spoke with him': Heckingbottom hints at Reda Khadra starting at ... (Sheffield United News)

Sheffield United manager, Paul Heckingbottom, has spoken about Reda Khadra in his pre-QPR press conference and hinted he could start again.

Hecky’s comments suggest he could be prepared to play Khadra in the same role tonight against QPR. He performed the role for the team but I’ve just tried to encourage him to be a bit more positive higher up the pitch, we don’t want him playing in there as a left-back.” But we wanted Reda to play in a position he’s a bit more familiar with higher up the pitch.

The forward opted for a move to W12. Givens was a major part of that. He departed for Wolves that summer and would go on to be on the books of no less than 14 different sides in total before eventually retiring in 1997. Burridge moved to Loftus Road in 1980 and during his time in W12, made 45 appearances for the R’s under boss Terry Venables - being a member of the squad which reached the FA Cup final in 1982. He would depart for Birmingham City in 1978, before moving to Sheffield United in 1980 where he enjoyed a solitary campaign with the Blades. Having begun his career with Watford, Currie moved to Bramall Lane in 1968 and would go on to make over 300 appearances for the Blades, scoring 54 goals while also being made club captain in March 1974.

Sheffield United vs Queens Park Rangers LIVE (Yorkshire Live)

The Blades entertain Queens Park Rangers in a Championship encounter at Bramall Lane this evening.

Khadra caught in possession inside his own area and the ball is played for Lyndon Dykes to strike first time. Good football around the area from United with Berge and Doyle probing well and it ends with Doyle cutting in on to his right foot and curling an effort goalwards but it's comfortable for the visiting keeper. Foderingham saves and the rebound is fired towards the corner from Roberts but Bogle is able to get a touch on it and flick it wide for a corner off the line

Championship: Willock stuns leaders Sheffield United as QPR go ... (The Guardian)

Sheffield United lost at home for the first time this season after Chris Willock's goal while Norwich went second after their 1-1 draw at Reading.

Han-Noah Massengo and Antoine Semenyo went close for the hosts as the Robins sought to end a three-game losing streak. Cardiff claimed a first win under their interim manager Mark Hudson as they beat Blackburn 1-0 in the Welsh capital. Ben Jackson equalised for Huddersfield after 70 minutes, but the Terriers finished with 10 men as David Kasumu was sent off in added time for two bookable offences. [Huddersfield](https://www.theguardian.com/football/huddersfield) twice led in the first period through a Carlton Morris own goal and a Jordan Rhodes penalty. Willock’s winner came after he played a clever one-two with Ethan Laird and squeezed his shot from an acute angle between goalkeeper Wes Foderingham and the near post. Paul Ince’s Reading remain in third, two points adrift of the top two.

Ratings: How Sheffield United players fared in their Championship ... (Yorkshire Post)

HERE are the Sheffield United player ratings from Tuesday evening's Championship home game against QPR at Bramall Lane.

His wait for his first goal of the season continues and could not make an impact. Came on at right wing-back for the injured Baldock and offered a threat at least with his pace. Not his day for once of late and could not continue his recent goal glut. One of the better performers, even accounting for one big mistake in second half. His axis with Bogle was also productive on the left, certainly in the first half. QPR’s movement and pace up top posed issues for the Blades rearguard.
