Salas will be suspended for the trip to Madrid but Jose Gaya missed the spot kick, preserving Sevilla's point. In their current imperious guise, few sides look capable of toppling Los Blancos. Karim Rekik's hamstring problem is less severe but has prevented the versatile Dutch defender from appearing under the new coach Sampaoli. Sevilla, by contrast, endured such a dire start to the season - one win from their first ten matches - they parted company with former Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui. Real Madrid vs Sevilla: La Liga Match Preview (The Hard Tackle)

Real Madrid will aim to maintain a stronghold on the summit of La Liga when they welcome Sevilla to the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday.

Former Real Madrid midfielder Isco has settled down at Sevilla and will pair up with Nemanja Gudelj in the middle of the park. But while Sevilla might frustrate Real Madrid initially, the reigning La Liga champions will have enough quality to clinch three points. So Los Nervionenses will take to the Santiago Bernabeu with a crisis in the defensive unit. The Hard Tackle predicts a 2-0 win for Carlo Ancelotti’s men, who will remain on top of La Liga for another week. Unlike his counterpart in the Real Madrid dugout, Jorge Sampaoli has a new roster issue hampering his preparations ahead of the trip to the Santiago Bernabeu. And Real Madrid will line up in the usual 4-3-3 formation in front of Courtois. The Real Madrid manager will have a full-strength squad at his disposal on Saturday. The central defensive unit will have a makeshift look, with Gonzalo Montiel and Jose Angelo Carmona starting alongside Marcao. Karim Benzema will spearhead the Real Madrid attack, with Vinicius Junior featuring on the left flank. In addition, Sampaoli has excluded Tanguy Nianzou from the travelling squad after the Frenchman came off with a knock against Valencia. The 2022/23 season continues, and in Spain, Matchday 11 of La Liga will kick off on Saturday. The Hard Tackle now takes a closer look at the encounter ahead of the latest meeting between the two sides.

Real Madrid vs Sevilla live online: score, stats and updates, LaLiga ... (AS English)

Before we get going, if you're looking for a place where you can watch the game (and why wouldn't you be?), then look no further! Here's all the info you need.

It'll be interesting to see how Sevilla intend to line-up though, with no recognised striker in the team for a second away game in succession. Of course, Benzema and Courtois have been in the news for other reasons this week. This Madrid side are not the kind you want to be giving too much of a head-start... I went to a game between Spain and Italy at the Bernabéu in 2017 and Isco was absolutely unbelievable that night. This is a good chance for Sevilla from the free-kick! Unsurprisingly, considering Sampaoli is in charge, Sevilla have been trying to play the ball out from the back at every opportunity. They work it to Modric, who cleverly makes space for a shot in the box, which is blocked by Telles at the last second. Montiel, despite his defensive struggles, has got forward on a couple of occasions and is the first visiting player to trouble Courtois. Rodrygo goes down in the box and (the fans) want a penalty. One touch and hit from the edge of the box, it whistles into the corner. That changed the complexion of the game for 15-20 minutes or so, with Sevilla gaining the upper hand and threatening the home goal on a few occasions. Other teams would lost their composure after conceding and Real Madrid were on the back foot for a spell.
