Daniele Orsato to referee Leipzig-Real Madrid (Real Madrid)

It will be the seventh time the Italian official takes charge of a game involving our team.

In 2020/21, the official oversaw Chelsea-Real Madrid (2-0), in the return leg of the semi-finals, and finally, he was also in the middle for Round of 16 clash with PSG at the Parc des Princes last season (1-0). The previous one came last season, a 3-1 win over Manchester City in the semi-finals at the Santiago Bernabéu. That season also saw him take charge of the Round of 16 first leg against Manchester City, which ended in a 1-2 defeat.

The team begin preparations for Leipzig clash (Real Madrid)

Real Madrid play Champions League Group Stage matchday 5 (9:00pm CEST).

The starting eleven from the Sevilla game worked on recovery in the gym. They completed the session with finishing exercises. Mariano and Ceballos worked away from the group, while Benzema continued with his recovery.

Teresa put Real Madrid ahead, Levante hit back in the second half and Nahikari levelled with a lovely chip.

Oroz (Møller, 87’) and Esther. Levante levelled proceedings when Alba Redondo had the ball in the back of the net from a free-kick (50’). Then, with 73 minutes gone, Nahikari levelled again with a chip from inside the box.
