Mamelodi Sundowns are out to consolidate their PSL lead when they visit Royal AM for Saturday's date at Chatsworth Stadium.
Sundowns’ last visit to Chatsworth was a successful trip as they beat Royal AM 3-2 in the final league game of last season in May. Sundowns’ opponents Royal AM are eighth on the table and have been inconsistent this season and the future of their technical team is uncertain. The hammering of Maritzburg was the perfect response to the 3-0 defeat they had suffered at the hands of Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 semi-finals last weekend.
Sundowns midfielder Haashim Domingo is hoping to get the nod from coach Rulani Mokwena to star against Royal AM on Saturday.
“The win was a boost in confidence for us but we are still keeping our feet on the ground and looking forward to the next one. We spoke prior to the game and we discussed things and it all worked out in the match. “Cassius had a great game and he was very mature, he did not rush it and for a youngster to be composed and get a brace is great.
