Mbesuma: A lost opportunity for Kaizer Chiefs (Goal.com)

Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Collins Mbesuma, recently appointed as a striker coach at Pretoria Callies, could surely have fulfilled a similar role with ...

He also had a brief spell in Europe, at Portsmouth in England, Maritimo (Portugal) and Turkish side Bursaspor. Someone like Mbesuma, a massively popular player and brilliant goal-scorer in his first spell at Chiefs, would have fitted that position perfectly at the Glamour Boys. Certainly there are a host of former PSL strikers who could be employed in such positions, but have not been given the opportunity.

Kaizer Chiefs: Njabulo Blom's contract clash (The South African)

Njabulo Blom has insisted that he wants to stay at Kaizer Chiefs and only wants a fair salary.

Kaizer Chiefs: Three options for Blom to examine (The South African)

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Njabulo Blom just turned 23 and his career is at an interesting crossroads. We examine his three options from here.

[Itโ€™s a wonderful time to be a Chiefs fan](https://www.thesouthafrican.com/sport/soccer/psl-south-africa/heres-why-its-good-to-be-a-kaizer-chiefs-fan-right-now-11-december-2022/) Then thereโ€™s also his prospects in a Bafana bafana jersey. [How Chiefs can convince Blom to stay](https://www.thesouthafrican.com/sport/soccer/psl-south-africa/one-way-kaizer-chiefs-can-ensure-njabulo-blom-signs-a-new-deal-12-december-2022/) This is obviously an appealing option, and nobody could blame him if this is the route that he went. Spurning offers from the likes of Sundowns, Pirates and potential European suitors would immediately make Amakhosi fans adore him even more than they already do. [One thing Blom must add to his game](https://www.thesouthafrican.com/sport/soccer/psl-south-africa/one-thing-kaizer-chiefs-star-njabulo-blom-must-add-to-his-game-12-december-2022/)
