The Interior of This ACJ320neo is Both Lavish and Highly Functional (Robb Report)

The first ACJ320neo was delivered to Acropolis Aviation in 2020, with a much more lavish interior. The aircraft's interior measures 89'10”, with a cabin width ...

“We were able to convince the customer not only with our world-leading design, engineering and cabin completion expertise, but with a complete package of tailor-made services,” said Von Puttkamer. The design mandates a cabin with a large open entrance. Lufthansa Technik’s VIP interior of a new ACJ320neo will become reality as the aircraft moves to a completion center next summer.

Private jet travel is one of the most carbon-intensive things a person ... (WJCT NEWS)

Private jet flights have increased at a Los Angeles area airport that caters to wealthy travelers. Fumes affect the working-class neighborhood.

And so there has not been a need for a new study because the feeling was that the findings for that study are still relevant. WELLS: The FAA said in a statement that they work with airports to address community concerns. Get in the car. Run to the car. WELLS: Although it's convenient for the wealthy, private jet travel is also one of the most carbon-intensive things a person can do, spewing about two metric tons of carbon every hour. That's roughly the cost of a round-trip private flight from LA to New York.

How Hydrogen Compares To Jet Fuel In Terms Of Safety (Simple Flying)

The buoyancy of diatomic hydrogen makes the hydrogen fire less destructive to surroundings than the gasoline fire. The buoyancy keeps hydrogen flames upwards in ...

The toxicity of hydrogen is almost negligible compared to the toxicity of jet fuel. Even though an internal impact of such scale is unlikely during flight, thick-walled tanks must be used to store liquid hydrogen onboard the aircraft. Low emissivity of hydrogen prevents the heat from entering into insulated components in case of an isolated fire. The incident caused a wrong impression of using hydrogen as a fuel for aircraft. Spilled or leaked hydrogen is likely to dissipate much quicker than jet fuel. In 1937, a hydrogen-filled passenger [airship](https://simpleflying.com/tag/airship/), Hinderburg (D-LZ129), [caught fire during its attempt to dock](https://simpleflying.com/r101-british-airship-story/) at the Lakehurst Naval Air Station in New Jersey.

Supersonic Jet Holds Promises, Challenges (AviationPros.com)

The announcement this past January that a startup company had picked Piedmont Triad International Airport for its first aircraft manufacturing operation ...

The largest amount of the incentives — $56.7 million — will go toward reimbursing Boom Supersonic for design and construction costs. Boom Supersonic is trying to achieve a feat that has eluded other aviation companies — develop a jet, which Boom Supersonic dubs Overture, that doesn't cause deafening sonic booms and can be affordable in the commercial travel industry. Department of Commerce completed a five-page agreement focused on state economic incentives for the project totaling $106.7 million. Roy Cooper and other state and regional dignitaries came to the airport for Colorado-based Boom Supersonic to unveil its plans for a new generation of supersonic passenger jets. Boom Supersonic has pledged to create 1,760 jobs and invest $500 million in the project by the end of the decade. A memorandum of agreement this past summer between the airport and the company indicates that Boom Supersonic has the option to double the size of its property from 61 to 122 acres if it needs to expand.
