At international level, Hamano helped Japan to a second-place finish at the FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica last August, managing four goals and one assist in six appearances. She came off the bench to feature in a 2-0 friendly victory over Nigeria last October. This season, the teenager has made seven appearances for the defending Japanese champions across league and cup competition.
Ahead of the Women's Super League resumption this weekend and Chelsea's trip to the Emirates Stadium, head coach Emma Hayes has reported good news on the ...
It was the right time for us and the right time for her. Of course it would be even better if we could have Beth England as well but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the right thing to do for her and us. The loan process is one that we should embrace, especially when the development of the league and the top teams within that league has grown exponentially. ‘It’s a good situation for that player to go and develop under our watchful eye and we can support that. ‘There’s still Pernille [Harder] and her situation but everyone else is okay,’ she added about the fitness of the squad. I really valued the time with the squad and I think they did with each other.

Beach will spend the remainder of the 22/23 season on loan at Chelmsford City. However an injury from which he is making a return kept him out for an extended period. Ted Sharman-Lowe and Eddie Beach will be spending the rest of the season in the National League South.
Our development squad put in another great display as Mason Burstow and Dion Rankine both scored fine goals to extend our young Blues unbeaten run in the ...
The in-form Rankine made it back-to-back games with a goal as he finished off a fine team move which started from a Slonina goal-kick. The winger was able to sweep the ball past the goalkeeper with a left-footed finish which went through the legs of the Smith in goal. Wolves seldom threatened in the first period, but they went close as Harry Birtwistle put in a cross from a seemingly impossible angle and it found the head of Nathan Fraser who failed to keep his effort down. Williams released Hutchinson down the left side of the pitch, and he fired in a cross which Burstow took nicely into his path and then chipped the goalkeeper with his left foot. Our young Blues were looking to make it three wins on the bounce as we took on a Wolves side who we beat in our first PL2 game of this season by seven goals to one. It was a cold evening at Kingsmeadow, and Wolves seemed set to frustrate our young Blues as the match started out in a scrappy nature.
Goals in each half from Mason Burstow and Dion Rankine condemned Wolves under-21s to defeat on the road at Chelsea on Friday evening.
Wolves required a response of some sort if they were to find a way back into the contest. And that proved costly, as Chelsea swiftly went on the counter-attack. As the half-time whistle approached, Wolves were able to conjure up one more opening when Owen Hesketh drove well from inside his own half, before leaving Roberts to do the rest. The home side were quick out of the blocks and played at a high intensity, which Wolves did well to weather in the early stages. The latter did well to drive at the opposition, before Dylan Scicluna and Nathan Fraser combined to tee-up Harvey Griffiths who struck his effort well, but could only clear the crossbar. A break down the left-hand side saw Omari Hutchinson make tracks and pick out Burstow who took one touch to get away from his marker, before neatly dinking over the top of Jackson Smith and into the far corner.
