Gordhan: Eskom contractors to be held accountable (eNCA)

Public Enterprises Minister, Pravin Gordhan says the state is looking to hold contractors responsible for services rendered to power stations.

According to Gordhan, this is something the board is looking at and something they want to understand. "Not all the contractors are delivering what they are supposed to deliver when they undertake maintenance," he says. "There is a business model if you'd like, or operational model at the power stations," he says.

"Regrettably, Gordan and more recently SAA have sought to frustrate [the sale of Mango]. They now imperil Mango's very survival and if not urgently corrected by this court, will result in no other alternative than Mango being wound down," states Sono.
