Pancake Day, or Shrove Tuesday, is a tradition that dates back centuries and is celebrated in many countries around the world. Shrove Tuesday was originally a day where households would use up the eggs and fats in their homes before Lent. Pancake Day was once the often-forgotten celebratory day of everything pancake. Jumping forward to the present day retailers would have been preparing for consumer demand.

When bubbles begin to form on the surface you should flip it! Ladle a dollop of batter onto the pan. Also known as Shrove Tuesday, it happens the day before Ash Wednesday which sees the beginning of Lent, for Christians this is the season when Jesus Christ withdrew into the perilous desert for 40 days. (Aim to make the batter a few hours ahead of time and leave it to set in your fridge) By virtue of this biblical significance, Lent is traditionally observed as a time of abstinence where people will give up a treat for that period, hence why in advance of this disciplined time we luxuriate in the indulgence of Pancake Day first. Pancake Day, or Shrove Tuesday, is observed by followers of the Christian faith all around the world and it marks the last day before Lent (Ash Wednesday) but it is celebrated even by those outside of Christianity.

And that will eventually lead to the Fed/ Cabal/ Cartel having to step up to buy Well, the rest of the team that wasn’t already here, had to have reported to camp yesterday, with the first spring game on Saturday this week, of which I’ll be there! It was all spurred on by the PPT and the price manipulators earlier this month, and the dollar hasn’t looked back since… The month of Feb has given back all the losses the dollar took in January… What was most amazing about the media reports of last week was what wasn’t in them. The price of Oil has bumped higher and trades this morning with a $77 handle, while bonds are breathing a sigh of relief after a very busy week, last that is… if I were a Fed head, and I read this letter, I would be embarrassed that the Mexico, is going about fighting inflation the right way, and I’m not… And the rising yields in bonds that began early last week, kept going strong, and the 10-year Treasury ended the week with a 3.85% yield. That has the been the story of Feb… As far as Gold, goes, the recent price decline, as with Silver also, is proving to be a buying opportunity… [Silver](https://www.fxstreet.com/rates-charts/xagusd) actually gained on the day, up 16-cents on Friday, to close the week at $21.81… And it all began that day when the PPT decided that the dollar had last too much, and the price manipulators decided that Gold has reached too high….

This piece of nostalgia covered in lemon and sugar might be in danger in a society where all that is culturally solid melts into air and all that is sentimentally holy is profaned. I have to remind myself that, for the majority of the year, I simply do not care about many of these smaller cultural holidays.
