But it was Lewes who took their chances on the day, cruising past Cardiff to win 6-1. Reading kept their cool and didn't falter as they won 5-4 and could give them the confidence they need to battle against relegation in the league. The last time these two sides met, Manchester City put six past the Robins only a month ago in the Continental Cup quarter finals. Reading may be near the bottom of the WSL, but Spurs hold a record nobody wants - seven-straight defeats in the league - and that showed on Sunday. [Manchester City](https://www.mirror.co.uk/all-about/manchester-city-women-fc) annihilated Championship side Bristol City 8-1, while two of the ties went to penalties and we now have our quarter-finalists. The Gunners were let down in their performance against Chelsea without key forward players - and the difference in squad depth is showing the more they play each other.

Even though Bristol is in a good form but it will be very difficult for them to continue this form when they face the powerhouse city. - Man City have won their last 10 away games in the FA Cup, a run that stretches back to February 2019. Earlier this month, it was confirmed that defender Rob Atkinson would miss the rest of the campaign due to a cruciate ligament rupture, and he is the second Robins player to suffer that fate this season after Ayman Benarous. Lewis also possesses the technical ability and intelligence to shift his role mid-game depending on the team’s requirements and continue to operate at a high level. Pearson’s side has found the back of the net in all of their 11 fixtures since the turn of the year, and the hosts have also shipped just one goal in their last four at Ashton Gate, but such resilience may prove futile against the Citizens juggernaut.

Bristol City defender George Tanner spent four years at Manchester United before leaving the youth system in 2020 for a move to Carlisle United.

Old Trafford has served as a fortress in the FA Cup over the years. The fifth round has been a major obstacle for Burnley over the years — the Clarets have lost each of their last six fifth-round matches and haven’t advanced to the quarterfinals since the 2002-03 campaign. Son Heung-min has been the Spurs’ go-to man in the FA Cup. These clubs last clashed in the FA Cup during the 2004-05 tournament when Paul Dickov scored in a 1-0 win in the quarterfinals. John Molinaro is one of the leading soccer journalists in Canada, having covered the game for over 20 years for several media outlets, including Sportsnet, CBC Sports and Sun Media. All eyes will be on the fourth division’s Grimsby Town, the lowest-ranked team remaining in this season’s FA Cup, when they play away to the Premier League’s Southampton at St. ET) in what will only be the second FA Cup meeting between the two clubs. Man City have won each of their previous 12 FA Cup contests against lower division clubs by a combined score of 42-8. West Ham’s previous win came in 2001 courtesy of a goal from Paolo Di Canio. Even though Brighton plays in a higher division at the moment, it hasn’t had much success against Stoke over the years. If a game is tied after 90 minutes, it goes to extra time and then a penalty shootout (if necessary) to determine the winner. 28 to March 1, features eight matches in total, including Premier League side Southampton hosting lowly Grimsby Town, who compete in the English fourth division.

We knew we had to strengthen for the most important period of the season and we didn't." Made her mark in the game from the get go with a foul on Catley then an assist for Sophie Ingle's goal. Coming back to club football after making her international debut for England in the Arnold Clark Cup, her confidence seethed onto the pitch for Chelsea.
