Is Chelsea vs Lyon on TV? Kick-off time, channel and how to watch ... (The Independent)

The match will kick off at 8pm BST on Thursday 30 March at Stamford Bridge, London. How can I watch it? Every game in this season's Women's Champions League ...

Stamford Bridge found its voice and on the second consecutive night in London, it could be said that this was more than just a night of drama in the competition – it was the night where Chelsea came home as well. Chelsea needed more, but in the second half found it in short supply. Chelsea were shaky in the absence of Bright and it placed more responsibility on Kerr and James, both of whom were played centrally. Though the tweak from Hayes only added to Chelsea’s struggles, with both Kerr and James drifting on the periphery. But the night after Arsenal made the Emirates their home, Chelsea had their moment at Stamford Bridge to join them in the semi-finals. Sonia Bompastor could call upon quality at the level of Ada Hegerberg and Sara Dabritz and they combined for what looked to be the winning goal in the 110th minute.

Chelsea 1-2 Lyon (Agg: 2-2) (Penalties 4-3): Maren Mjelde scores ... (Sky Sports)

Match report as Vanessa Giles strike sends ties to extra-time before Lyon go ahead on aggregate when Sara Dabritz scores with five minutes remaining; ...

Everyone knew she was going to take that penalty and everyone knew she was going to score. "For Marun (Mjelde) to do what she did, last kick of the game, to have to place the ball three times, she's a Chelsea legend. The first goal was extremely important for us." What's more impressive is she took the first penalty of the shootout within a couple of minutes. Players have had to come into the game and play multiple roles. I felt I didn't see a goal in us to be honest. "Chelsea were resorting to long balls into the box, hoping for a second ball or something to happen. Chelsea boss Emma Hayes: "I didn't want to watch the shootout until Guro (Reiten) made me. But deep into injury time, Lauren James went down in the area under a challenge from Vicki Becho and after being instructed by the VAR to look at the pitchside monitor, referee Ivana Martincic pointed to the spot. The midfielder walked down the tunnel in tears, holding her nose which had been bloodied in an accidental collision, and soon Gilles squeezed home at Berger's near post to force extra-time. Chelsea survived several early scares as Lyon went to reduce the deficit from the start. In every game, including the last one, I didn't even know it was switched on.
