The sensible choice is Rey winning as he has been pushed too far by his son and is also going to be fresh off an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. The problem is that Damage CTRL has been booked terribly inconsistently and has generally been on the losing end of their exchanges with the tag champs and Stratus. A loss to his father, arguably the greatest luchador in history, won't undo his progress. Looking back on the feud, Dominik has gotten the better of his father so many times and it just doesn't feel right to have Rey lose after all of that. Hopefully this match is the start of WWE moving to the post-championship stage of The Bloodline story. Pick: Rhea Ripley wins the title -- Brookhouse (also Mahjouri) Paul has proven that he can be half of a very good match given the right amount of preparation. This no longer feels like a passing of the torch moment, so a cheap finish in Theory's favor feels like the safest way out. With Ripley garnering strong babyface reactions and Flair much more comfortable in the heel role, Ripley needs to defeat Flair at WrestleMania. That way, a frustrated Flair can turn heel either at Mania or the next night on Raw and return to her more natural roots. This may very well end up being the best match all weekend, and it’s important that both stars come out of the match looking like world title contenders. On paper, the show looks nothing short of incredible and should feature a handful of epic matches involving some of the biggest stars in the business. Later into the match, Lita got the upper hand on SKY, connecting with a hurricanrana and a creative dropdown from the top rope (wrapping her feet around SKY’s neck). Quick thinking from Rollins allowed him to move out of the way as Paul sent KSI through the announcer’s table, and Rollins hit the Pedigree for the pin. Paul leapt to the top rope and hit a moonsault that ultimately didn’t connect. The Architect then attempted a Pedigree, but Logan countered, and that led to back-to-back reversals. Montez connected with the belly splash from the top rope, allowing his partner Dawkins to get the pin.

Titus O’Neil was featured on commentary for this match, and you loved to see it. In the night’s most heated storyline, The Usos represented The Bloodline to defend their historic tag team title reign against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Rhea vs. SmackDown this past Friday night garnered 2.389 million viewers per the Fast National ratings.
