Ten-man TP Mazembe suffered a 1-0 home defeat against Young Africans (Yanga) on Sunday as they ended their TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
The only goal of the match was scored by Mussa in the 63rd minute which was enough to secure all the points for Young Africans. Young Africans' victory helped them to move to 13 points to temporarily occupy first place of the group pending the match between Tunisian side US Monastir and Real Bamako later on Sunday. The Tanzanian club won the match in Lubumbashi to finish their Group D matches thanks to a second-half goal by Faridi Mussa.
